Our team is presenting at @AAPOR alongside our partners from @umisr and @rnishimura on evaluating ABS frames in NYC.
Proud to collaborate on research that helps strengthen how we understand and engage communities across New York City. @Goldsteeeed@NYCHousing 🤝
“The city’s campaign finance watchdog has greatly expanded its investigation into Mayor Eric Adams’ fundraising, targeting alleged illegal straw donations arranged by an agent of the Uzbekistan government …” thecity.nyc/2025/07/09/adams…
The ex-chiefs and assistant chiefs say they were pushed out in 2023 after complaining about promotions and plum assignments given to unqualified friends of top brass and other misconduct.

This ad by @WhitneyTilson suggests that Zohran Mamdani is trying to kill Jews.
The Hebrew text on top in red is from Leviticus 19:16:
"Do not stand by idly while your neighbor's blood is shed."
h/t @Wimeraner
The threats against Zohran Mamdani are despicable and outrageous. I hope law enforcement quickly apprehends and prosecutes the man in question and anyone else who threatens a public figure.
Young people respond differently—and our surveys should reflect that.
At #AAPOR2025, @Goldsteeeed from our HOME team at @NYCHousing shared new insights on youth response times to help build smarter, more inclusive surveys that reflect NYC’s full population. #ForNYCByNYC@AAPOR
Five years ago today, Norman Arbeeny died from COVID-19 after being forced into a nursing home by Andrew Cuomo.
Cuomo has yet to admit responsibility or apologize.
My thoughts are with all those who lost loved ones because of Cuomo’s mismanagement.
“That’s why today, in Spanish, I'm saying, God, we trust because that's the time we need to lean on the faith,” the mayor says.
Again, the shirt is in Italian
Advocates for 9/11 survivors say people will die because of the Trump admin's deep cuts to the 9/11 health fund.
Instead of saying anything at all about those cuts, Adams, an ex-NYPD captain, and his spokeswoman today joked about subjecting a reporter to "involuntary removal."
Mayor continues to ignore questions on 9/11 health fund, instead putting his camera right in my face and reusing his Inner Circle joke with spox @KaylaMamelak to joke about needing legislation to do an involuntary removal on me. Seems like simple Q to answer by a former cop.

Despite wearing an American flag t-shirt -- and often speaking about 9/11 heroes -- @NYCMayor refused to answer repeated questions about cuts to the 9/11 health fund @TheJohnFeal9117
.@ericadamsfornyc spoke to @SallyGold on Monday about his independent run, was a little vague about it on Tuesday, then in a radio interview vehemently denied he wasn't running as a Democrat.
It must be hard keeping track of which lie to share --
We're not being used as a "political football." Our safety is being used as justification to detain, disappear, and deport political activists. If you don't think that places a special moral burden on us, as Jews, to reject their logic & fight back, you are a shanda.
Mask-off moment for @SamAdlerBell.
Reminder: 70% of Jews voted Harris. We see through Trump’s claims. We don’t appreciate being used as a political football by the right OR the left.
“Trump lies, so Jews who speak about hatred are ‘the real Nazis’” is both stupid & antisemitic.
Can we just be honest about this for a fucking second: the current government of the US is using the protection of Jews to disappear people from our streets for their political speech. On your behalf. You got what you wanted. They're the nazis. You're a collaborator.
The stunning explosion of antisemitism after October 7th has shaken American Jews to their core.

NEW: Andrew Cuomo and his then-married top aide, Melissa DeRosa, were in an “emotional romantic relationship” while he was New York governor, according to bombshell testimony obtained by The Post.
Bombshell from @VaughnEGoldennypost.com/2025/03/27/us-new…
And why don't our subway stations have decent lighting? Because Governor Andrew Cuomo spent ten years raiding the MTA budget to fund boondoggles and upstate ski resorts instead.
“Now more than ever, we need a mayor that's willing to out-trump Trump, a mayor that's willing to stand up and fight for the values and principles of this city and this country.” — Eric Adams, 2016.
But we won't trade meaningful action for meaningless posturing like so many politicians. New Yorkers deserve a government that works as hard as they do, not one distracted by political theater — and that's exactly what we're delivering.
