HCA CareNOW has expanded access to care, with six new urgent care locations opening in the Lowcountry. This strengthens HCA Healthcare’s presence across South Carolina, complementing a network that includes four acute care hospitals, a behavioral health hospital, 40 physician practice locations, eight freestanding ERs, 21 urgent care clinics and more than 75 care sites statewide.

HCA Florida Healthcare has begun construction on HCA Florida Canopy Oak Emergency, a new freestanding emergency room that will expand access to care in Marion County. The $15 million facility is scheduled to open in spring 2027 and will provide full-service emergency care for patients of all ages.
