The Account Security team is working through these tickets as quick as they can, they understand that these cases are urgent.
I don't have a wait time estimate that I can currently offer. We genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding in the meantime.

New: Hackers have been stealing high-profile Instagram accounts by simply asking Meta's AI support chatbot to change the email associated with the account they want to steal.
Shockingly easy, terrible flaw associated with offloading support to AI:

It's been 15 hrs for me and they still haven't shut it down and the hacker has it to try and hack all mine. It's aweful.
I stand across all kinds of scam in the world.
My Discord account got hacked & I had to delete the faulty messages then explained to some of my friends on DMs.
Worst experience ever!

Ya going through it myself and 15 hrs later my hacked @discord account is still active and using it to hack more I am sure. And no response yet since I first reported it on my ticket. Getting ready to wipe the pc now. You got this!

Phew, hectic 48 hours. Discord hacked, random transaction on my account. Had to use a separate safe device to reset all my passwords. Cancel my card, report the transaction, re-install windows to nuke everything. Now to set everything up again =/

You would think all of these platforms would have a more stream lined response to HACKS and step up security it's insane.
All my accounts was hacked today, as well as my son's accounts, still struggling to get his @xbox account back. They don't allow direct email so you can't explain to them that the recovery email was changed today. They ask a lot of questions but can't help.

Yes @discord @discord_support it would be nice if maybe you could hire all of the people who seem to know how to resolve these issues without you that offer to help things could be addressed in a more timely fashion. It's been 15 hrs for me and still nothing.

Lost a $3000 username on instagram 2 days ago, and account permanently disabled. 2 FA was on. Not a single way to receive human help except a Pakistani from Facebook support. And Zuck is probably chilling on his yacht rn while thousands of people are getting their accounts stolen
