Per #AustinFC press release, Jim Curtin will NOT occupy both the head coach AND sporting director roles at the club. The sporting director vacancy remains as of now.

Not quite a “name you couldn’t believe,” but a pretty damn good name at the top of any shortlist of MLS head coaches. #AustinFC finally has (or will have) a leader with demonstrated MLS success on his résumé. Massive.
