A 20% or so service charge in lieu of gratuity is fair; doing this and not so subtly encouraging additional tipping is poor form and constitutes deceptive pricing and/or making the customer feel guilty, i.e. poor hospitality.
Wonderful new seafood centric Mexican resto, Mariscos San Pedro. Enjoyed sitting at the chef counter watching my dorade cook in the wood oven. Outstanding salsas and aguachile; fantastic dessert as well.
Looking back my favorite meal in Mallorca was at ** Voro. Beautiful, off the beaten path location, well worth the detour. Whimsical meal, but not at the expense of quality. Best service of the trip as well.
Best dinner in #Mallorca so far @ Maca de Castro Super friendly FOH made us feel at home and the kitchen executed course after course of stellar cuisine.
