.@GovDunleavy: "Alaska provides 60% of the country’s seafood... Fishing in Alaska is one of the oldest industries in that entire state—employing thousands of individuals... This is an example of putting America First, workers first, and really this country first."
.@POTUS: "It’s my honor to be taking this action to lower seafood costs and generate millions and millions of dollars in new business for our really great fishermen by restoring commercial access to three areas of the Western Pacific Ocean."

Join me in thanking the House Finance Committee for advancing my LNG pipeline volumetric tax bill out of committee this afternoon. This legislation provides the certainty and stability needed to move the Alaska LNG Project forward, strengthen our economy, create thousands of good-paying jobs, and deliver long-term benefits for Alaskans. I appreciate the committee’s work and look forward to continued progress as this important bill now moves to the House floor and on to the Senate. Alaska has a tremendous opportunity before us, and this bill is a critical step toward making the Alaska LNG Project a reality. #alaska #akleg #lng

Today is Don Young Day in Alaska. Don Young served Alaska for 49 years in Washington DC. Don used every one of those years, every committee chairmanship, every relationship, and every hard-fought vote for Alaska.

Generations of Alaskans have waited for this moment. The Alaska LNG Project represents one of the greatest economic opportunities in our state's history. It will create thousands of jobs, generate billions in investment, provide new revenue for essential public services. Our current property tax structure is a major hurdle to moving forward, and we need to fix it. My LNG volumetric tax bill provides the long-term certainty and the competitive tax structure needed to attract investment and move this transformational project forward. Alaska has an opportunity to send its vast reserves of natural gas to Pacific Rim markets while heating our homes and generating more affordable power for Alaskans. The legislature has until June 19 to agree on a bill that will move the project forward. Failing to make Alaska’s tax structure competitive will seriously jeopardize the financing and movement of this project. #AlaskaLNG #EnergySecurity #Jobs #Alaska

Today we pause to remember those who lost their lives during the bombing of Dutch Harbor on June 3 and 4, 1942. Dutch Harbor Remembrance Day honors the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of those who defended Alaska during one of the only enemy attacks on American soil during World War II. Their legacy reminds us of the vital role Alaska has played in our nation's security and freedom.

This administration listens to the voices of the communities we serve. @Interior restored ORV access for subsistence hunting in Gates of the Arctic National Park, answering decades of calls from Nunamiut people. No one cares for the land more than those who depend on it.

Magatte Wade's story, from being raised by her grandmother in Senegal to a successful entrepreneur in America is inspiring. She is spot on in articulating that human flourishing depends on two key ingredients: economic freedom together with affordable, abundant, and reliable energy. Plan a time to set aside an hour and watch @magattew's powerful keynote from #ASEC2026 youtu.be/_5KfgJfUb_c?si=oZ14…

Now Live: "Alaska Is Back on the Map for Investors" – Governor Mike Dunleavy and Secretary Doug Burgum 🎙️ This week on #COBT we had the exciting opportunity to travel to Anchorage, Alaska, to participate in the Fifth Annual Alaska Sustainable Energy Conference. The conference convenes researchers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors to discuss the future of energy development, infrastructure, technology, and resource leadership across Alaska and the broader global energy landscape. We had the honor of moderating a discussion featuring Governor Mike Dunleavy and Chairman of the National Energy Dominance Council and U.S. Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum. Given Alaska’s strategic importance across energy, critical minerals, infrastructure, and geopolitics, it was a fascinating and timely discussion. @GovDunleavy @SecretaryBurgum @Interior #ASEC @AKEnergyConf @SuperSpiked @ArjunNMurti
