Colorado is awarding $3.3 million in new Justice Assistance Grants (JAG) to state, local, tribal, and nonprofit organizations working to prevent and reduce crime, strengthen public safety, and enhance Colorado’s criminal justice system.
Our policies and investment have led to a drastic drop in crime across the board in Colorado, because of supporting community-based, data-proven strategies to prevent crime that make our communities safer. This new funding will strengthen public safety agencies, and support innovative data-driven solutions that reduce violence, improve behavioral health outcomes, support victims, and strengthen public safety across Colorado.
