First day in EYFS was a success! Classroom is 80% there and my home visits went really well. I love my team and cannot wait to welcome my little legends on Wednesday!! Sooooooo different to a secondary school inset

My youngest bounced out of school yesterday to excitedly tell me she'd started SATs and how fun it was. A sharp contrast to my eldest who was so stressed last week that she cried. The pressure on year 6 is so unfair

I have been so sick the past week and I was really hoping I'd be well enough to teach tomorrow but it's not looking good now. I feel so guilty about calling in sick though... especially at the start of a new term! Is it normal to feel this guilty?
