this time last year, most of us barely thought about AI and now it's everywhere i spend close to 2hrs continuously learning a particular AI skill everyday not because it's trending but because it's something i(you) genuinely can't avoid people spent years learning skills they expected to last and suddenly there's AI doing that faster like content creation, automation, agents, prompt engineering, research support and more, things that weren't even careers a year ago or were they? and it doesn't stop, every few months something new lands before the last thing is fully understood a lot of people feel like they're already late but late to what, exactly? everyone's catching up to a moving target iydk, AI isn't slowing down at all the more honest question is what comes after it? or do you think it'll die down soon? also, are you picking up at least one AI skill right now?

A thread for everyone in their 20s. Especially those carrying silent battles. 🧵 Five months ago, I lost my dad. Six years ago, I lost my mum. Today, I have two younger sisters looking up to me. One recently became a mother. The other is still in school. And somewhere in the middle of all that, I'm still trying to figure out my own life. Nobody prepares you for the moment life stops asking if you're ready. It just hands you responsibility and Gbam!! "Your turn." There are days I miss my parents.😔 Not because I need answers. But because sometimes I wish I could stop being strong for just a moment.🫩 ¤ People see ambition. ¤ They see goals. ¤ They see plans. What they don't always see is the pressure behind them. ~ The pressure to make things work. ~ The pressure to provide. ~ The pressure to become something greater than your circumstances. I've learned that grief doesn't always look like tears. Sometimes it looks like waking up every day and deciding to keep going.🚶🏾‍♂️ Even when your heart is tired. One thing life taught me recently: Nobody is coming to build my future for me. Not because people don't care. But because this is my journey to walk. ☆So I stopped waiting for perfect conditions. ☆Stopped waiting for motivation. ☆Stopped waiting for life to become easier. 》I started moving anyway.🤷🏽‍♂️ And if there's one thing I want anyone reading this to understand, it's this:👇🏽 ♤You can be carrying pain and still make progress. ♤You can be grieving and still grow. ♤You can be struggling and still win. My story isn't finished. ♧I still dey learn. ♧Still building. ♧Still failing sometimes. ♧Still getting back up.
