I thought Raducanu v Rakhimova would have been at 11am and plenty of time for the winner to rest and get ready for the semi finals later in the day.
It would also give Rakhimova (if she loses) the chance to travel to Nottingham and play a later day qualifying match.
However ££ ticket sales and TV ££ are more important to the organisers.
