I just published a post about our son's first three months on @CamAPS_FX. It is kind of a review comparing MDI with CamAPS, trying to help people make a decision to move or not. maori.geek.nz/outsourcing-my… #DOC #GBDoc #t1d #type1diabetes

How do I export people I am following on Twitter to Threads?

Our 3yo T1D son told us he felt low (without prompting) for the first time yesterday. This is happy/sad good/bad hopeful/horrible at the same time.

But what if the wealth tax causes wealthy people to leave the country. Then who will do all the passive extraction of rents from property? Didn't think of that now did you

Just published an article about moving our 3yo T1D from CamAPS to AndoridAPS and the first few months experience and results. TLDR: I havn't had this much sleep in years thanks to Nightscout, NightGuard and AndroidAPS! maori.geek.nz/moving-to-andr… #DOC #T1D #WeAreNowetWaiting

I just upgraded my table saw to a DeWalt 7491 with a new Diablo blade. It is so good and accurate, I am loving it. Good tools make everything better.

Is this the first time someone complained that a Crypto company has too much observability.
Coinbase (?) had a $65 million Datadog bill per its Q1 earnings call. Wild. h/t @ChairliftCap

Learning new IDE's is 10x harder than learning new languages. xcode is breaking my brain, swift is really nice

Really enjoying The Working Group podcast from @CitizenBomber. Solid #nzpol discussions with good humour youtube.com/watch?v=SjKB_gYk…

Took me three days of hell to realise I was opening the project file instead of the workspace file in an iOS xcode project, and that was the reason everything was breaking. I feel that is a mistake that could be fixed in the UI

I am now on the ChatGPT band wagon. So far I have asked it for: 1. Pseduo code for OpenAPS algorithms 2. A quick tutorial for a Blender tool 3. Help planning a vacation 4. Keto Marshmallow recipes All results were better than expected!

I stood up wrong in physics class when I was 16 and dislocated my knee. I was in a cast for a month and a brace for another month.

Does anyone know someone who can take on a well scoped, paid job of moving a Android Bluetooth driver over to iOS? Specifically I want Dana-i insulin pump (github.com/nightscout/Androi…) ported to a LoopKit Driver github.com/LoopKit/Loop

`toDouble` has to be very confusing to new programmers, e.g. "what you mean is 1.toDouble() doesn't equal 2, it equals 1.0"

Diasend limiting updates from @CamAPS_FX is rage inducing. Over an hour my T1D son was in the care of me, my wife then his baby sitter. Instead of looking at a chart to see carbs and insulin, we clumsily explained it, losing context causing a high. Moving to AndroidAPS ASAP.
