I retired early in March 2008 and spent several years cruising the canal system before developing arthritis. I now occupy a residential mooring.

Had a great time at the wedding end of May. Now looking forward to trip to Scotland on Sunday with visit to the Tattoo on Monday plus visits to Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine and Stirling Castle.

Hi all, had great few days with my son and his wife in Exeter over Easter. Watched Crawley beat Exeter. Got back yesterday and now waiting for Phil and Imeldaβs wedding end of May.

What a wet night. Had to loosen ropes on boat as canal has risen by over 6 inches

After a great few days in North Wales I came back to lots of rain and gales. Now very sunny but a bit chilly. A much better day.
