Cycled past here today (just 1/2 mile from home). #HS2 have totally devastated massive swathes of the local landscape right through Warwickshire. So many big old trees cut down, so many miles of hedgerows torn up. And SO MANY men standing around in hi viz theguardian.com/uk-news/2020β¦

Q: Where did Modernism come from? Just taken delivery of this book X-Ray Architecture, posing the theory that our still dominant design ideology was born, over 100 yrs ago, out of the medical. Form follows illness? π·π€
