Backrooms review:
I liked it, but dialogue felt clunky and reminded me of my own mediocre writing. The atmosphere totally makes up for those shortcomings though and the climax sequence felt like it was pulled directly from a reoccurring nightmare I have.

Some of that final imagery in Backrooms was so good, and straight up haunting. So glad I no longer need to avoid spoilers!
It is pretty wild that relatively cheap horror movies are basically carrying the entire film industry at the moment.
