Here's a wise one...
For someone who spends almost 10k on fuel every night and 100k on units every month, this is the best decision I made this year. If I tell you I haven’t spent more than 10k on electricity every month in the last three months, you won’t believe it. One of the best financial decisions I took this year. And to think this carries everything in the household. If you can afford this please get solar

Today, we concluded another partnership with Sterling Bank to launch the Sterling Bank National Mathematics Quiz. A nationwide competition designed to discover, reward, and celebrate Nigeria’s brightest young minds. Starting Saturday, June 20, 2026, students from Primary 1 to SS3 across Nigeria will compete online every two weeks for the prizes. 1st Prize – ₦500,000 2nd Prize – ₦300,000 3rd Prize – ₦200,000 That’s ₦1,000,000 every two weeks and ₦24,000,000 every year dedicated solely to rewarding academic excellence among Nigerian children. But this is not just about winning money. It is about building a culture where intelligence is celebrated. It is about giving every child, whether in Lagos, Enugu, Kano, Bayelsa, Maiduguri, Aba, or a remote village, an opportunity to compete on a national stage. Competition Schedule • Every two weeks • Saturdays • 6:00 PM – 6:20 PM • Online nationwide The top performers will then advance to a live championship session streamed online next day same time, where Nigerians can watch some of the country’s brightest students solve challenging mathematical problems in real time. To ensure fairness and give more students the opportunity to benefit, every student can only win once. And here’s what makes it even better: Every participant will be able to review their questions after the competition, identify their weaknesses, learn from their mistakes, and prepare for the next challenge. This means that even students who don’t win become better mathematicians. Parents, teachers, school owners, and students should begin preparing immediately. The questions will be tough and the competition will be fierce. Registration is now open: exams.educare.school/login/i… Please share this with every child, parent, teacher, school owner, principal, and education stakeholder you know. Let’s make academic excellence prestigious again.

There are unsaturated and less popular sites that hire remote workers daily with little competition. Pay range is between $130-$250/day, and you won't be expected to join any calls. Here's a quick list for anyone interested:

Solar Panels: The "Taps" That Connect You to the Sun If your battery is your fuel tank and the charge controller is the fuel attendant, then the Solar Panel is the Tap. It is what actually "fetches" the power from the sun and brings it into your house. In the Nigerian market, you will mostly see two brothers: Mono and Poly. 1. Monocrystalline (The "A-Class" Panel) These are the dark-colored (almost black) panels. They are made from the highest grade of silicon. The Performance: They are very efficient. Even when the weather is "dull" or it's the rainy season and the sun is hiding, Mono panels are still "hustling" to get you some power. The Local Gist: Mono is like a well-dug borehole with a powerful Sumo pump. Even if there is a small drought, it will still find water to give you. It’s more expensive, but it doesn't need much space on your roof to give you high voltage. 2. Polycrystalline (The "Manage-It" Panel) These are the blue-tinted panels. They are the older brothers of Mono and are generally cheaper. The Performance: They work best when the sun is "shining like fire" (that 12 PM dry season sun). If the weather is cloudy or there’s too much shade from your neighbor's mango tree, their performance drops significantly. The Local Gist: Poly is like a shallow well. When it rains or the ground is wet, you have plenty of water. But during the dry season or if the "sun no show," you might struggle to get a full bucket. You also need to buy more of them (more space on your roof) to get the same power a few Mono panels would give you. Important "Naija" Factor: The Fake vs. Original Trap When you go to Alaba Market or any solar shop, you’ll see panels labeled 300W or 550W. The "Wash": Some cheap panels are "sticker-branded." They might write 300W on the back, but in reality, they are only producing 200W. The Test: This is why it’s important to check the "Open Circuit Voltage" with a multimeter under the sun before you climb your roof to install them.

A guy sat at his laptop ready to permanently delete his 15-year-old Gmail account. He was getting 400 spam emails a day. Fake Best Buy receipts. Phishing links from "Netflix." Cryptic extortion threats. He hovered his mouse over "Delete Account" and sighed: "I just want peace." His coworker, a former email deliverability engineer, looked over his shoulder. "Before you nuke 15 years of contacts and data, let me show you something. Your email isn't broken. It's weaponized. There are 22 ways you've been leaving the door wide open. Google won't tell you this because the data collection feeds their entire ad engine. Give me 14 minutes." Here's what she showed him:

A New Nigeria Is Possible. Nothing good comes easy. We dey your back okwute. Just lead!!! We follow
Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Building a Healthier Nigeria Through Stronger Healthcare Systems As part of our desire and commitment to building a healthier Nigeria, I met with some healthcare professionals and experts in the United States on Friday, June 5, 2026. The meeting was essentially to deepen my understanding of how successful health insurance systems deliver improved healthcare, especially in the areas of primary and emergency care. One of our key health objectives remains unchanged: to expand health insurance coverage, strengthen primary healthcare across our electoral wards, train more healthcare workers, and make quality healthcare accessible and affordable for all Nigerians. A New Nigeria must be a healthier Nigeria. A New Nigeria is possible. -PO

Yesterday, I was in Strasbourg, France, to attend sessions at the European Parliament. While there, I spent the day holding a series of constructive meetings with several members from various committees, from the Committee on Foreign Affairs, to the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs, to the Members of the Africa-EU Delegation Committee, to the Committee on Transport and Tourism, and Development, amongst others. I appealed to them to strengthen their relationship with Africa, especially Nigeria, which stands as a key frontier for global development. Africa, as I reiterated, is a continent of immense potential, the second-largest in size and population, richly endowed with natural resources, and powered by a vast, youthful demographic. Yet it remains the face of global poverty, largely because of bad leadership and entrenched corruption, a reality clearly reflected in Nigeria. I urged them to support the development of Africa, particularly Nigeria, by advancing good governance. This includes supporting our democratic processes in ways that promote the emergence of competent leaders with the capacity and integrity to transform our nations. I also highlighted how they can support us in addressing insecurity, improving power generation and distribution, strengthening education and healthcare, and lifting our people out of poverty. This is necessary because our success as a nation and the success of Africa have a direct benefit to Europe. I also underscored the need to invest in and support Nigerian youths who have an immense desire and drive for entrepreneurship and productivity, if well supported, but are now facing despair due to limited opportunities. Africa and indeed Nigeria can and must work for all and contribute to global developments. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
