I'm back. I took about 3 months off from using X to focus on moving my family out of suburbia and into the country. We've acquired some cows, about 100 chickens and growing a big garden. We are beyond grateful to God for this opportunity. There's much work to do at home and in my community. For the next several months these are my goals: 1) Disciple my family well in the Christian faith. 2) Become more self-sufficient and buy less from food from grocery stores. 3) Start another business with my brother. 4) Become more involved in local politics in my town, city and State. 5) Spend more free time reading and learning.

83 - Chris Richards completed all 83 passes he attempted for the #USMNT against Paraguay, the most passes with a 100 percent accuracy rate by any player in a FIFA World Cup match since 1966. Perfection.

1/ 🚨 World Cup 2026 security searches are NOT “racist examples” — they’re standard U.S. protocol for the biggest tournament in history. Viral videos of Senegal & Uzbekistan teams are being spun as profiling. Facts say otherwise. Let’s break it down. 🧵

8/ Bottom line: The U.S. is hosting the most complex World Cup ever amid global threats. Enhanced checks protect players, fans, and the event. Calling routine protocol “racist” distracts from real issues like logistics. Safety > feelings. Sources: Senegalese Fed statements, CBP World Cup guidance, ESPN/FIFA security reports.

9/ Football unites — let’s not divide over standard airport security. If every team got the exact same visible checks, no one would bat an eye. Focus on the pitch, not conspiracy. What do you think? Facts over narrative. ⚽🇺🇸 #WorldCup2026

7/ Accusations of racism rely on optics selective videos. But no evidence of unequal treatment by skin color. FIFA shares country-specific threat intel with hosts. Security is risk-based, not race-based. European, African, and Asian squads have all seen similar layers — the camera just followed some more.

5/ Why the tarmac screenings? Charter flights bypass normal terminal TSA. U.S. Customs & Border Protection explicitly calls this secure facilitation for the event — not humiliation. Senegalese officials said it was professional and expected. Viral outrage ignores the Senegalese Fed’s own statement.

6/ Separate visa/vetting issues (e.g., Somali referee denied entry on “vetting concerns,” some staff delays) are real but not the same as team searches. These stem from standard CBP risk checks (overstays, intel gaps in certain passports). Athletes get tournament exemptions, but protocols apply uniformly. Not race-based.

3/ Belgium’s Kevin De Bruyne (European star) and his squad got identical checks. Uzbekistan’s team (with manager Cannavaro) faced wands, dogs, and bag scans too. This isn’t “only non-white teams.” It’s procedure for charter arrivals during heightened World Cup ops across 16 U.S. cities.

4/ Context: This is the largest-ever World Cup (48 teams, millions of fans, 3 countries). U.S. agencies (CBP, FBI, TSA, local PD) are running “unprecedented” security with threat assessments from FIFA per team/country. Drones, K-9s, magnetometers — standard for EVERY high-profile international arrival right now.

2/ First, the Senegalese Football Federation itself confirmed: Their players’ tarmac pat-downs & bag checks at Raleigh-Durham (June 7) were a routine domestic security check for large groups on private charter flights. Purpose? Skip terminal crowds & speed up processing. No incidents. Same applied to others.
