We're celebrating the fantastic work of all of our staff at this challenging time. Michelle Gorringe, our Founder and Managing Director, arranged for our chefs to provide cupcakes for all members of staff as a token of our appreciation. Don't they look delicious? #ThankYou
We've certainly enjoyed the lovely weather recently. Our residents enjoyed a tea dance, followed by a "test your taste buds activity". They were challenged to guess the flavour of purees and sauces. As you can see, this activity was a great success!
Our Activities Coordinator, Merle, has been running social activities for our residents to enjoy each other's company at a safe distance. We spent a lovely morning flower arranging which was very well received by all involved #CareHome#ElderlyCare#COVID19#COVID
Here at Green Tree Court, we're going the extra mile to keep our residents and colleagues safe at this time. Our thanks goes to Sandra Bate for the scrub bags she has kindly given to us to prevent the spread of #coronavirus#covid19#elderlycare#carehome
We're always coming up with ways to bring joy to our residents, and yesterday was no exception. We filled a basket with spring flowers for our residents to enjoy inside. They loved experiencing the first colours and scents of spring #coronavirus#COVID19#CareHome#ElderlyCare
To protect residents and staff, visits to residents are not permitted unless in exceptional circumstances. We can support regular contact with Skype, FaceTime or phone calls. Please get in touch to arrange this. Thank you for your understanding. #coronavirus#COVID19#CareHome
We had a wonderful Valentine's Day Tea Dance last week! Our residents enjoyed renditions of love songs by Terrie-May and an impressive cake to mark the occasion. The event brought back many happy memories for all. #CareHome#ElderlyCare
Each year, we celebrate the fantastic work of our staff with the Star Awards. We're proud to say that 11 staff reached 5 years of service with us.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to the incredible environment we have created for our residents. #CareHome#ElderlyCare#ThankYou
Last week, we welcomed a group of French students from Brittany, studying at the Globe School of English. They were eager to spend time with our residents and had a great day of festive celebrations. #ElderlyCare#CareHome#CareGivers
