Based on these metrics, Darryn Peterson checks every box. With that said, the Wizards have deviated from these in the past when selecting Bub Carrington and Tre Johnson, who were viewed as bad defenders, and Bilal Coulibaly, who remains a poor outside shooter. Overall: It seems upside is the most important trait to Dawkins and co — a trait Dybantsa certainly checks.
