My model doesn’t show value on any driver yet. No reason to force bets this early, especially with other books still to come.
Feels like a week with fewer outrights/T3s and more focus on matchups and group markets.

The fantasy projections had a huge day.
Rasmussen was the overall highest projected driver, and he finished that way (176 points). Even better if you starred him.
Newgarden, Power, and McLaughlin all with great days too.
Probably the best week yet for the projections!

The only thing pulling this down a bit is the stop/start and unknown of the weather killed the momentum a bit.

If they lose the track, likely would take an hour to dry. No curfew here so can wait if they want. But if don’t resume, race would be official.

If you’re betting McLaughlin and O’Ward, I like them both down to 700 to win, 200 T3.

Lots of good longer shot groups/matchups. Playing into the chaos again today, similar to Detroit last week.

Lots of good values in fantasy.
O'Ward/Newgarden are top contenders to win.
Power/Rasmussen are great overtake/improvement point opportunities.
You can also fill your lineup in with some other short oval specialists (Malukas, McLaughlin, Ferrucci).

Gateway is a tough track to handicap.
The fastest cars usually separate themselves, especially if the outside lane is viable. With it being a short oval, only about half the field typically finishes on the lead lap.

That said, strategy, pit stops, and luck play a huge role here.
Pit timing & clean stops are often just as important as outright speed. Even the fastest cars can get trapped a lap down by a poorly timed yellow.
Probably won’t go too heavy this week, but final card coming soon!

I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I’m fully fading Ras this weekend. At least until after quals.
Finished P1/P2/Quals last year 25/19/25.
ECR avg. qual at Gateway: 19.4 (13/14 tracks)
Never had a car qualify T10 here in the hybrid era.
