Happy to report that after 10 months of meticulous training, logging 1,317 miles in 2023, I finished @ChiMarathon quickly enough (3:04:09) to qualify for @bostonmarathon 2025. (I needed 3:10:00 for my age group.)

I like to race the Great Western Half Marathon—but this year I brought my camera, gimbal and drone instead.
First time shooting in 6K anamorphic mode on the Lumix GH5M2—the 4:3 aspect ratio gave me extra height to crop vertically for the Instagram/TikTok edit.

Here's the vertical edit, which actually shows some extra vertical resolution that's missing in the 16:9 version.
This mode maxes out at 29.97p frames per second—so knowing I didn't need slow motion for the edit—made this mode ideal.

David Tran—the compelling hot sauce maker I profiled for @SrirachaMovie—is now worth $1B.

David Tran arrived in the U.S. as a refugee from Vietnam in 1979. In Feb. 1980, he incorporated @huyfongfoods, making Sriracha with the now-iconic rooster logo. Now @Forbes estimates Huy Fong is worth $1B, making Tran America's first hot sauce billionaire.
