REMINDER: There will be no fireworks shows on or around Griffith Observatory for the Fourth of July. Fireworks are both illegal in the City of Los Angeles and pose a threat to our wildlife and parks.

Griffith Observatory will host our monthly public star party this Saturday, May 27, weather permitting. The free event will run from 2:00 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Please note that the Observatory does not allow for the operation of private, unauthorized telescopes on our grounds.
