Recently, EG & District Lions Club members, visited Kings College Hospital to see how the Club's donation is being used to support the wonderful work of LIBRA (Lions International Blood Research Appeal).

After Imberhorne School had two of its mini buses stolen, EG Lions were delighted to make a contribution towards their new mini buses. They are pleased the buses are now ready to transport students in the new year.

Past President, Sharan Billings suffered a major stroke.She spent 9 weeks in ESH. Thankfully, Sharan is now recovering. Sharan learnt that not all the equipment needed to aid stroke recovery is provided by the Trust. Sharan was delighted to present a Wii donated by the EG Lions.

Wondering how to entertain the kids over Half Term then look no further! Loads of children's books have just been added to the shelves at the Lions Book Shop in Martell's. Children's books are just 50p and the Under 5's are free!

A great afternoon at East Court Live 2 on Sunday; despite the rain at the end! EG Lions were busy on their refreshment stall and it was great to see the children enjoying the games provided by the Scouts. Looking forward to East Court Live 3 on Sunday 3rd August already!

Wondering what to cook? Look no further! Cookery books are just 50p at the Lions Book Shop at the moment. The Book Shop is on the Ground Floor of Martell's, at the back of the shop. Pop in and take a look!
