Strep B infection during pregnancy can cause life-threatening in babies - we don't screen for it in the UK routinely. How do you know if your baby could be at risk? I'm discussing now on @theJeremyVine@BBCRadio2
If you tested positive in a previous pregnancy, the option of testing for #groupBStrep with an ECM test late this pregnancy should be discussed with you. If it hasn't been, ask your #midwife

After an agonising 10 days I’m delighted that Teddy is now out of hospital, once again thanks for the kind messages, thanks to the brilliant Nhs staff at the Princess Anne. No doubt my normal randomness will soon resume but expect the odd soppy dad post for the next 18yrs or so
