Just been speaking to a large group of Optoms and it seems large employers and the very same agencies are using the same tactics with them too. Obviously making the dubious claims about shortages in that sector while locum optoms are sitting at home looking for work.

1. Last few weeks we’ve been hearing some very similar stories across the country. Allegedly almost all multiples and chains have same set rate, ignore emails form locums if they want to negotiate, almost all of them using same locum platform,

I hate this perception that community pharmacists are retailers. It needs to change. There needs to be understanding that a 4 years masters degree and a one year pre-reg doesn't make "shop keepers". We are health care professionals and clinicians.
