Yep. Too many creationists and flat earthers rejecting science and making up their own pseudoscience.
If I were ever abducted by Aliens, the first thing I’d ask is whether they came from a planet where people also deny science.

"Atheistic claim and belief..." Do any of my non-religious friends know what claims and beliefs we hold "in the name of athesim"???
You’re a serious moron aren’t you? I stated that the atheistic claim and belief has necessary repercussions for one’s position on mortality. It enables you the dimwitted atheist to decide what is good or evil or reject it altogether.

Eric's video compilation of the images I shared earlier of the Red Sprites. This is just amazing. I've actually never seen sprites myself. Mainly images from the ISS of all the different sprites and other types of lightning is all I saw before. So this is so freaking cool to see them from the ground!
Red spites from last night that produced green ghosts. Captured from southern Minnesota looking toward the storms over Missouri / Illinois.

More Red Sprites captured by @EricTheSpaceCat . He just keeps dropping more and more of these things for us to drool over! Lol
Red sprites from last night. Last night was crazy. I captured over 60 individual sprite events. Captured from southern Minnesota looking toward the storm over Missouri / Illinois.

I've met several hardcore creationists christian on here that love to make it the False Dilemma Fallacy of Christian vs Atheist. Smh... It shows their closed minded inability to understand the vast options or choices that aren't just those two.
False dilemma. The choices aren’t “God’s Word” or “the enemy.” People reduce stress and anxiety through science, reason, therapy, exercise, meaningful relationships, and healthy habits every day. If an idea can’t compete with open inquiry and must portray alternative viewpoints as “the enemy,” that’s worth questioning.

More epic shots from Artemis II have been released!
Behold: new and previously unseen imagery from our Artemis II mission! These images were captured on April 6, 2026, when the four astronauts aboard the Orion spacecraft conducted the lunar flyby portion of their ten-day journey.

This guy again. Thinking he's a philbro with a gotcha. Look at all the "fancy philosophical words" he's using! It boils down to him wanting evidence of my non-belief. All that huffing and puffing word salad to sound smart. He says I have to prove my claim that I don't believe gods exist. Wtf man... No I don't. I know what I don't believe dummy. I could care less about what you want.
Another Kachelman Dodge. What you did not answer because you cannot answer: So what evidence can you point to that supports any inference that you truly believe what you claim to believe . . . that you have seen nothing that you believe qualifies as admissible “evidence” of any “god” that you believe others are claiming to exist. Further, if you have no evidence to support your own claim as to your own state of mind (as it relates to the non-existence of “gods” and “evidence”), explain why you believe you can reasonably expect others to accept, on blind faith, your state of mind claim. And, as the one making the claim as to your own state of mind, as the only one who can know directly the true state of your mind, the burden is on you to define the terms of your claim. In order to prove to you that the “god” you referenced in your claim exists, what attributes would you need to see evidence of? For example, if to you a “god” would include one with the attributes of Nero — who was the subject of a god claim, and who demanded worship and was worshipped, and who was regarded by his worshippers as having supernatural powers — the evidence would be different than the evidence that you are your own god, based simply on the fact that you put ultimate trust in self (the Biblical construct of a human seeking to be “like God”).

Dude has a thing for me. I left the op and he just can't handle not having someone to sling his shit at! 🤣 Name calling and insults like a school kid who makes fun of the class. Then he goes home and crys because he doesn't know why nobody likes him. 😂

Yep... Any deity... Any all powerful supernatural deity.
Definitely. Just prove a deity is real.

The crew for Artemis III I'm stoked for the next mission. But Artemis IV is the one I'm really waiting for. But III will be testing the hardware the IV crew will need. So I'm still excited for both!
The Moon looks even more beautiful when it’s bathing in some Earthglow – let’s hear it for Earth Joy! Congratulations to my friends and colleagues on the Artemis III crew: @AstroKomrade, Frank Rubio, @astro_luca, and @Astro_AndreD. This mission in low Earth orbit will pave the way for our subsequent @NASAArtemis missions to land humans on the Moon.

Yep, all religions in general have supernatural claims that we wouldn't believe in a normal everyday sense. But if it's your religion, there's an exception.
Islam is right up there with Christianity when it comes to delusion

This guy... "Lifelong atheist who found JC..." "I don't believe in the existence of atheists..." Which one is it?
I don’t believe in the existence of atheists for the same reason I am a-leprechaunist, or a-unicornist.

Dave with another excellent and simple observation that slaps down flat earth nonsense.

How does sunset and sunrise shine underneath a plane? The sun would need to be physically lower to the ground than the plane ... So Flat Earth sun altitude is less than 30,000ft? 🤔

Exactly It's become a trend with apologists and just uneducated Christians lately to try and conflate what Atheism it and isn't. SG here states it perfectly easy to understand for all you who try to tie all kinds of extra stuff into me being an atheist.
Just a little reminder 😉 -Atheism is NOT a religion. -It doesn’t take faith to be an atheist. -Atheists don’t believe nothing created everything. -Atheism doesn’t = nihilism or any other “ism”. -Atheism doesn’t dictate how I live or what I should value. -Atheists don’t hate God.

Here we go again... Creationist Strawman. Mixing up science and what an atheist is. We make no claims about the origin of the universe. That's cosmology. Second, cosmology does NOT pose that "nothing created anything". I go over the actual things cosmologists say in my reply to this thread.
We laugh at atheists because they say the irrational stuff below. Incidentally, some atheists think the universe came from nothing (it was uncaused), so atheists are saying atheism makes no sense whatsoever.

Exactly .. this goes for the op, but also all of religious supernatural claims.
Replying to @ApoloJedi_
“Reality” isn’t whatever your dumb fuck religious doctrine says it is. That’s not defending objective truth- it’s demanding everyone else live inside your preferred mythological glossary.

Awesome view!

Damn, the apologists are at it today with blocking comments! This one courtesy of @Aoa2574 with his childish "scarecrowman" name calling. So you get "the last word in" and block comments. Who is scared?
