The Crier has now been posted to all members and ‘Friends of the Guild’ who did not respond to the email asking if they were happy with just electronic version. @ladytowncrier could wait for the postie so raced to my house to pick her copy.

Sad news as we have learnt of the death of Mike Tupman MBE, town crier of @TownMarlborough who passed away last week. He will be missed by his fellow guild members.

This week was the funeral of Maurice Jones, @FairfordCouncil s former town crier. Some of our members including Andrew Stopka, Fairford’s current crier were in attendance. A ‘Bells Up’ was given as Maurice’s coffin was lowered as a last farewell. RIP ‘Super Tanker’.
