It's been a whirlwind of a year but that hasn't stopped me 'burning up the Guild floor'! 🔥
I am so grateful for all the opportunities that I have had this past year and I can wholeheartedly say I have loved my job. ❤

Today marks the end of my time as an officer and boy has it been one hell of a year!
It’s not been an easy year, I’ve felt like the bad guy for telling groups not to meet in person and I’ve felt like I was on top of the world watching the Guild awards that I organised.

Finally thank you to the students who voted me in and gifted me the best job in the world and thank you to the societies who have been resilient this year and have been a pleasure to watch and support.
Good luck to Josephine who I know will do an amazing job as your next AEO.

So you may have seen on my officer wins graphic something called 'Save a Society' and you may be thinking that you haven't seen that on my social media! 🤔
So let's tell you what it is...

Activities committee and MDX approved the scheme and helped approve the societies that will be put on the scheme.
The 'Save a Society' scheme will have a space on the website that will be launched over summer/ start of September with all the societies that need saving.

I hope this stops societies being lost because of the pandemic and this has been one of my longest pieces of work that I'm so proud of! ❤🤩

I can't believe my term in office is coming to an end tomorrow but as the officer team say 'we move and groove'!
