Maria Chaouki successfully presented her work at the SFH (société française d'hématologie) congress in Paris! She demonstrated the importance of limiting the dose of PI3K delta inhibitors to maintain efficacy and reduce toxicity in lymphoma.
Today, Camille Guyon presented her work on the partial inactivation of Vps34 in pancreatic cancer development and progression at the #JFHOD2025#CECED2025!
A great work deciphering the implication of autophagy in the pancreas.

We are thrilled to share with you our last work, ruled by Mickaël Di-Luoffo entitled "Mechanical compressive forces increase PI3K output signaling in breast and pancreatic cancer cells" and published in Life Science Alliance: doi.org/10.26508/lsa.2024028…
1/X
Compression alone blocked autophagy flux in all tested cells, while inactivation of basal PI3K activity restored autophagy flux only in mechanically non-responsive compressed cells.
6/X
This study provides direct evidence for the role of PI3K/AKT pathway in compression-induced mechanotransduction. PI3K inhibition promotes apoptosis or autophagy, explaining PI3K importance to control cancer cell survival under compression.

@CayronCayron and Maria Chaouki were at the 46th symposium on hormones and cell regulation in the Mont Saint Odile.
A wonderful place where @CayronCayron presented her work on the role of PI3K in pancreatic cancer metabolism!

Julie is currently at the Cancer Metabolism #EACR conference in Bilbao! She presented the work from @CayronCayron on PI3Kalpha and gamma cooperation for pancreatic cancer #metabolism
Throwback to two weeks ago when Camille presented her work on how to study genonotic effects on pancreas during the 52nd EEMGS/ICAW meeting in Rovinj. Congrats!
