If Bernie's 5% annual wealth tax on billionaires had been enacted in 2012, Elon Musk would be worth less than $365 billion instead of the $834 billion that he's worth today. He'd still be the wealthiest man alive & every senior would have dental, vision & hearing under Medicare.
BREAKING: Today Bernie Sanders is proposing a bill to raise $4.4 trillion in taxes from America’s billionaires — a move that would virtually cut their massive fortunes in half. A chunk of the money would go toward sending a $3K stimulus check to every person earning under $150K.

Can’t stop thinking about how Wall Street is celebrating Elon Musk becoming the world’s first trillionaire, while he single handedly eliminated humanitarian aid that will lead to the needless deaths of 4.5 million of the poorest children in the world in the next 4 years.

If Bernie's 5% annual wealth tax on billionaires had been enacted in 2012, Elon Musk would be worth less than $365 billion instead of the $1.2 trillion that he's worth today. Elon would still be the wealthiest man alive & every family in America would have universal childcare.

You cannot afford healthcare. You cannot afford childcare. You cannot afford rent. You cannot afford groceries. You cannot afford gas. And your taxes paid for SpaceX making Elon Musk a trillionaire. But sure. Blame it on the single mom who gets $6.20 a day in Food Stamps.

Every time Elon Musk claims to be a self-made trillionaire, remember this: He would be worth $0 without at least $38 billion in corporate welfare from U.S taxpayers & a workforce he can exploit. Yes. Elon loves corporate socialism for himself, rugged individualism for the rest.

Today, Elon Musk, a trillionaire, pays the same amount into Social Security as someone making $184,500. If we end that absurdity and lift the cap on taxable income, we can make Social Security solvent for 75 years and expand benefits by $2,400. My Social Security bill does that.

NBC News has been bringing on a consultant for both Susan Collins and the Israeli ministry of foreign to attack Graham Platner. You can’t make this stuff up.

Candidate Trump: "I will end inflation on Day One." President Trump today: "I love the inflation." You know who doesn't love inflation, Mr. President? Working families struggling to afford gas, groceries and other necessities because of your disastrous actions.
Q: Are you concerned about the latest inflation numbers that came out this morning? TRUMP: No, I love it. I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over -- do you know we've been taking out millions of barrels of oil? Nobody knows it. You know who doesn't know? Iran until right now.

Rahm Emanuel helped lead the effort to ship U.S jobs to China & Mexico, deregulate & bailout Wall Street, shutdown public schools, cover up Laquan McDonald's murder & had an 18% approval rating as Chicago’s Mayor. And now, he sits with his brother in seats that sell for $550K.
What a crew sitting next to the Spurs bench: Rahm Emanuel, Ari Emanuel, Larry David, David Zaslav, and Robert Kraft?

A Daily Reminder: If Bernie's Social Security bill was enacted in 2021, Elon Musk would've paid $2.9 billion more in taxes, Social Security would be solvent for 75 years, benefits would be expanded by $2,400 and 91% of Americans would pay $0 more in taxes. Scrap the damn cap.
Social Security needs reform, but neither party is willing to take the lead on doing so. If we continue doing nothing, Social Security payouts will be cut automatically by 24% in 2032… That’s only two presidential elections away. 👉🏻 crfb.org/nostatespared

No, Mr. President. The 2020 election that you lost was not "rigged" or "dirty," handing out $1.776 billion to violent insurrectionists is not a "good idea" & reporters who ask questions about your bogus claims are not "crooked." You are a president, not a dictator. Act like it.

Never before have we had so much income inequality. Last year, the bottom 50% saw their income go down by $27, on average, while the top 0.01% gained $2.9 million. And the top 0.001%? They saw their income go up by $20 million. In a single year. Yes. We must tax the rich.

In America today, we rank 34th out of 35 countries in childhood poverty and millions of children are food insecure. Maybe, just maybe, my Republican colleagues would consider holding a single hearing about how we improve the lives of American kids.
