ALT The Panel tasked with supporting Liverpool’s long-term future has agreed its interim assessment of the challenges facing the city, and its key areas of focus following extensive community engagement. The Liverpool Strategic Futures Advisory Panel, chaired by Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram, convened today to agree the recommendations of an interim report. The report is being sent to the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, for his consideration and is expected to be published later this year. The Panel would like to express their gratitude to the 300 stakeholders across the Liverpool City Region who were involved in its evidence gathering sessions for their comment, input and ideas. The Panel would also like to put on record their thanks to Councillor Liam Robinson and colleagues at Liverpool City Council, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities
