When I listened to @davidjollyfl speak, I heard something that reminded me of my father, Governor Bob Graham. A seriousness about public service. A deep understanding of policy. A focus on one question above all else: will this make a positive difference in people’s lives? That is what leadership should be. Every decision we make should begin with the people of Florida — their families, their communities, their future. David and I both believe in working together, building relationships across party lines, and doing the job for the people we serve. That is the Florida I grew up loving. And that is the Florida we are fighting to restore.

Florida has been my home my entire life. I was born in Miami, raised my family in North Florida, graduated from Leon High School, watched my children do the same, and have spent my life believing in the promise of this state. I’ve seen what public service can do when leaders put people first and work together — Democrats, Republicans, Independents, and everyone in between. That is why I’m so proud to join David Jolly in this campaign. This is not about party. It’s about helping Floridians live better lives and restoring the Florida we all love. The best is yet to come.

I first met @davidjollyfl when we served together in Congress. We were part of a small bipartisan group of Floridians who met regularly to talk about how we could work together for our state. That mattered then, and it matters even more now. What I came to know about David is simple: he is a good human being. That should matter in leadership. Decency, honesty, and care for others are not Democratic traits or Republican traits. They are human traits. And that is the kind of leader I believe Florida needs.

To me, leadership comes down to two things: competency and character. Floridians deserve leaders they can trust. Leaders who will work hard, think clearly, and focus on what actually improves people’s lives. Lowering costs. Protecting our environment. Strengthening education. Helping families who are struggling. I’m proud to stand with @davidjollyfl because I believe we share that commitment. Together, we can bring responsible, balanced leadership back to Tallahassee and build a governing partnership that truly benefits the people of Florida.

I’m honored to join @davidjollyfl as his choice for Lieutenant Governor. Florida is facing serious challenges, from affordability and education to corruption and division in Tallahassee. But I believe our state’s best days are still ahead. David and I served together in Congress, and I know his heart, his character, and his commitment to the people of Florida. This campaign is about restoring responsible, balanced leadership and serving every Floridian, regardless of party. I’m proud to stand with David as part of the Jolly-Graham ticket.
