Progesterone therapy inhibits menstruation and causes atrophy of #endometriosis lesions and works well for some - but not for all. So don’t tell those patients, for whom it doesn’t work, to “go away and assure them all will be well - it won’t” said @AProfAY at #AGESWESFM19

Learn to regulate emotions (when needed)? Def can be done in simulation. I would even say SHOULD include sim in early learning so that can focus on recognizing emotions and practicing skills without taking away from patient care...then apply/transfer to clinical setting

WHO recognises chronic pain as a disease in its own right. Just because tests are normal does not mean a person does not have the *disease* of chronic pain.
We need more services to help treat chronic pain - not just focussing on looking for another disease.
