One of the toughest habits I have had to wriggle out of over the years as a composer is the Mix As You Go method. It is great when you are in the demo phase but ends up being a noose when you get to the notes phase. Decisions 5 revisions ago can hamstring you in the present.

The thing people don't realize with AI music is its not just the creators who are fucked its the: highly trained musicians, Studio space to record them, engineers, mics makers to record them, DAW creators to record into, makers of plugins used to mix. Instrument makers.
AI is now at the point that from now on, unless I see people's writing process, I will just assume they didn't write the music they put out. My interest is in the art itself, not just the result. AI will put out some impressive shit. But the prompters didn't create it.
