CATCH Visit
This morning we welcomed Caitlin Patterson from CATCH.
@HCFCatch the most industry led, employer-focused apprenticeship programme in the Yorkshire and Humber region. By utilising industry knowledge, networks and connections and working closely with employers, they have developed specialised and enhanced apprenticeship programmes ready to deliver to the next generation of industry professionals. Encompassing Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Process Operations, Welding, Pipefitting and Plater specialisms.
Their CATCH facility in Stallingborough is unmatched. In addition to first-class engineering workshops and classrooms their site also features the National Centre for Process & Manufacturing, the UKs leading end-to-end live process operations training plant, which includes a state of the art control center, a simulator suite, an impressive tank farm and a fully functioning process facility. Plus the new cutting-edge Welding and Pipefitting Hub.
They work with over 300 employers across the Yorkshire & Humber region, in sectors such as Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Cosmetics, Food & Drink, Energy and Pharmaceuticals, and its associated supply chain. Their apprenticeships align directly with industry requirements and will provide you with a pathway to fantastic career opportunities in these exciting innovative companies.
Caitlin did a brilliant assembly to all Year 11 students about the fantastic Post-16 opportunities that they offer. She also did a Career Corner drop in session at lunchtime for any interested students to attend. After half-term we will be offering extra support for any students interested in applying. They have an Open Event running every month and you can book via their website. The next event is on 20th November 2025.
