Introducing our Advanced Higher class for session 2024/25. These gifted Mathematicians averaged 91% in their SQA Higher exam in May and are amongst the most able in the country. This year is their time to build on that foundation and reach for excellence at Advanced Higher level.

Mr Shields' S2 class celebrated @mathsweekscot by trying some codebreaking. They enjoyed learning about Alan Turing using his mathematical skills and learning of his amazing work accomplished for the Allied forces during the 2nd World War. #mathsweekscotland #innovation

In the recent SQA Higher Maths exam, Elijah scored 55/55 and 64/65, overall 119/120...99%. For good measure, he also sat the Higher Applications of Maths; again, achieving a grade A (band 1). All the more impressive as Elijah sat these papers whilst in S4! Remarkable! #confidence

More success to share with you all....Vrishank scored 99% and Will 100% in this years final National 5 SQA Maths exam. Top performers across the whole country. A wonderful achievement...all the more remarkable as both boys were only in S3 when they sat the paper! #confidence

Introducing our top performers at Higher Maths in S5. Adham and Chi Chi scored over 95% in their final SQA Higher Maths exam, with Chi Chi's A band 1 completing her set of straight A band 1's across all her Higher subjects. An outstanding result from these gifted Mathematicians.

We are delighted to share further success in the recent SQA Maths exams, this time at National 5 level. Ariadne, Angus, Zara, April and Elise between them averaged 97% and we are thrilled at their achievement! These young people are setting amazing standards for others to follow!

The Maths department are celebrating the outstanding success of our Applications of Maths students. They averaged 94% in their recent SQA examination (national average 47.6%). Did we mention that they were only in S3 when they sat the exam! Outstanding! #confidence

A wonderful achievement for Vrishank, who performed very highly in the recent @UKMathsTrust Pink Kangaroo and was awarded a Merit. This paper is designed to stretch young Mathematicians, and Vrishank continues to excel in this subject. Amazing! #confidence
