Hillsdale College freshman Samiksha Yadav recently presented her research on hereditary breast cancers at a
@NIH workshop in Bethesda, Maryland, as the only undergraduate student selected to present research among 35 researchers.
The workshop, “RNA as Cancer Drivers, Biomarkers and Therapeutics,” was organized by the National Cancer Institute and brought together leading experts from academia, industry, and government to discuss cutting-edge cancer research.
Before coming to Hillsdale, Yadav conducted cancer genetics research while still in high school in India and became the youngest researcher published at
@JNU_official_50.
Her momentum continues this year with research presentations accepted at
@BrownUniversity's Student Neurosurgery & Neurology Research Conference and
@Stanford's 13th Annual Neuroscience Forum — both conferences primarily geared toward medical students.
Congratulations to Samiksha on this remarkable achievement!
