Globally, more than 300,000 disposable nappies are used a minute.
If you use nappies, could you switch to reusables? You could get preloved ones, or use a discount to get new: huntingdonshire.gov.uk/bins-โฆ.
#ChooseToReuse ๐
As we approach May 1st, a bank holiday weekend, remember that our crews work Bank Holidays.
So place your bins out as usual!

#FoodWaste sent to landfill releases methane, a greenhouse gas 2.5 times more potent than carbon dioxide; causing #ClimateChange.
#BeTheChange#reduce your food waste, ensuring what is created is composted (at home or in your garden bin) and inform others to do the same.

Got clothes you no longer want, there's a range of ways to dispose of them; selling e.g. Vinted, donating to charity, passing on to Friends & family.
If beyond #reuse, recycle at ASTCO clothing banks, household recycling centres & some charity shops.

Show your dog how much you love them, by bagging and binning their poo.
Any general waste bin will do, it doesn't need to be a dog waste bin.

Be passionate about your pastries; they are too precious to waste!
If going stale, sprinkle with a few drops of water & reheat in the oven for 5-10 minutes until heated through. Or they can be frozen & reheated at a later date.

๐ You'd be a right lemon to waste any lemons! ๐
If they are starting to go soft, you can zest them, slice them or juice them before adding them to the freezer for use at a later date. You can do this with all citrus fruits.
