Our Hernandez Heroes wrapped up their Read-A-Thon celebrations with a popcorn and pickle party on Thursday, March 23. Heroes completed their annual Read-A-Thon with $11,250 raised and read for a total of 86,867 minutes! #DontDoubtUs

📅Plan on sending your decorated pumpkin to school on October 19th!
🚫NO CARVING or puncturing please, no one wants pumpkin goo all over our library books. 😜 A fake pumpkin is a GREAT option!

I am SO super proud of these amazing 5th graders! They beat out 20 other teams at @HernandezSMCISD to make it to our district battle, in which they came in 2nd place overall! Total rock stars!
