In light of the recent outbreak of the Corona Virus (Covid 19) the Creative and Cultural Organisation has taken the difficult decision to close our galleries, shops and spaces from 5pm today until we are advised that it is safe to open again.

In 1782 a vessel named Bethia was launched at Hull. Built by Blaydes, it was purchased by the Admiralty in 1787 & taken to London & modified in preparation for an expedition to collect breadfruit in the South Seas. The ship was renamed Bounty under the command of William Bligh.
