Last night, Head In The Game was honoured to be named winners of the 2025
@KentAwards in the Startup Charity category.
This award means so much to us. Anyone who has ever started a charity will know the countless hours, the sleepless nights, the sacrifices, and the determination it takes to keep going when the challenges feel overwhelming. To see that work recognised in this way is something very special.
We want ant to thank every single person who has been part of our journey so far.
•To every participant who has entrusted us with their mental fitness, it is your courage and openness that inspires us daily.
•To every member of staff who gives their time, energy, and passion to suicide prevention, often going far beyond what’s expected, thank you for your dedication.
•To every volunteer who has stood on a cold, wet, dark football pitch late at night, sometimes 30 or 40 miles from home, your commitment does not go unnoticed.
•To the businesses who have backed us, whether through in-work support, by choosing us as charity of the year, or by donating to keep our programmes running, you are part of this success.
•To our supporters who constantly talk about our work and remind others why charities like Head In The Game matter, your voice is powerful.
•To our incredible board of trustees who ensure we stay focused, compliant, and supported, always just a phone call away with advice and guidance, we couldn’t do this without you.
•To our marathon runners, cake bakers, raffle organisers, Euro sweepstake players, and every single fundraiser, you’ve all made a difference.
This award belongs to all of you. It is a reflection of the belief, the trust, and the community that has been built around Head In The Game.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. This means more than you will ever know.
