Unfortunately, with the growth of bots and automated messages on here, my standard form of outreach regarding the podcasts I record each day no longer seems to work, which has got me seriously concerned about the longevity of doing this as a full-time job.
I think people now receive DM’s from me about the podcast and automatically assume it’s a bot rather than a real person which is incredibly frustrating.
I record two separate podcasts each weekday morning, one on Palace and one on football generally in both the UK and across Europe; they’re both delivered directly to your inbox by 8:30am Monday-Friday and are always 25 minutes or less so you’re totally up to date with everything that’s going on first thing in the day.
I keep it at just £2.50 a month because I want it to be affordable for everyone but I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t worried about my chances of keeping it going much longer given the change in DM responses. Not really sure what to do but just thought I’d make people aware.

Seeing so many people moan about the kick-off times. I get it, it’s shit for us, waiting until the evening to start and having to power through into the early hours is horrible but it’s the World Cup. The clue is in the name, a 3pm kick off here is 7am in LA. It is what it is.

Call it “soft as fuck” if you want but one thing the World Cup always seems to do, almost as soon as it begins, is remind you that you’ll likely enjoy your life a LOT more if you welcome people in and try to have a laugh rather than being consistently aggy.

Each to their own and all that but this is an alien concept to me. I’d watch football at any level, on any day as long as it was on.
The World Cup in particular is just as much about the lesser fancied nations as it is about the heavyweights for me.
Maybe I’m not a proper footy fan but Idk if I can tune into Bosnia vs Canada as a serious human being
