HMP New Hall welcomed the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Al Garthwaite and Madam Mayoress Angela Gabriel recently. The morning included a tour of the establishment with visits to the mother & baby unit , workshops and residential areas.

@HMP_NewHall Social Distancing is still in place for Prison visits. Prisons are a closed environment with a high population so must take extra measures to stop infections from spreading.

@HMP_NewHall Social visits are due to recommence on 13th May 2021 and @PurpleVisits video visits remain in place in addition to these. Social visits are provided in line with the national HMPPS guidance that all prisons follow.

@HMP_NewHall from the 2nd November the preferred way to send money to family members and friends will be via send-money-to-prisoner.servi… portal. Any exemption request form will be required before sending any money. We have attached the information below

@HMP_NewHall are pleased to be able to offer social visits from the 1st September. We will be following government guidelines and all visitors will be required to wear a face mask. Regretfully no refreshments can be served.
