On 20th Oct, girls were not allowed to come out of their hostels to protest, despite requesting the wardens and guards multiple times. The girls had to ultimately resort to scaling the hostel gates and the student community was then forced to break the locks. (1/4)

Because of the denial of entry by the guards on the instructions of the wardens, the girls had to resort to scaling the hostel gate and breaking the locks, yet again for both the girls' hostels (3/4)

@hnluofficial did what it does best. Making rules devoid of any rationality.
Students can't use their own locks for their rooms,
they are advised not to keep laptops or irons in the room
Dinner won't be available post 9pm
Students need to vacate rooms at end of every acad yr

In his concluding remarks, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vivekanandan points out that law schools need to focus on making their students market-ready. The fact that law graduates learn law on clients' expenses show a deep disconnect, he points out.
