Today, Chevron and Impact Houston 26, the legacy initiative launched by the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Houston Host Committee with the Sports Authority Foundation, celebrated the unveiling of a new resilient soccer field at Mason Park, designed with sustainability, climate resilience, and inclusive play at its core. This transformation goes beyond the pitch: new shade trees, habitat restoration, improved gathering spaces, educational elements, and thoughtful design features will help create a healthier, cooler, and more connected community space for generations to come. This is the legacy we’re building together for Houston.
