Some times I feel like public figures launch these lawsuits not with the intent to win, but as a “I was wronged” PR strategy.
If you want “control” as a celebrity, in regard to how footage is used, maybe ask to be put on as a producer.

The 16 minutes used isn’t a deepfake montage. You said the things you said.
How the footage is then edited and used in the established context to which you’ve consented to (documentary), doesn’t give grounds for defamation.
