Dear All Nurses, you are never a ‘just’ and you are not ‘the’ pay grade. We are strong, safety critical advocates for our patients, keep doing what you’re doing. #InternationalNursesDay

A brilliant post and a reminder to all health care professionals to look at palates with a touch and tongue depressor - a look and a feel just don’t work and leads to a missed diagnosis #cleftawarenessweek
Today like @CLAPACOMMUNITY were talking about cleft palate which is less visible than cleft lip. My son was also born with a cleft palate which was noticed at birth, but it is sometimes harder to diagnose if no cleft lip… #cleftaware #cleftawarenessweek

I have generated a word cloud of menopause symptoms based on a large survey of nearly 6,000 women we did recently - the larger words are the more common symptoms.  Notice how many of the most common symptoms are related to the brain!

What a delightful morning, speaking with primary school children in assembly about my job as a cleft nurse. The school were engaged, asked brilliant questions about clefts, and to top it off they were having a non-uniform day to raise money for @CLAPACOMMUNITY 👏🏻 @nottmchildrens

If you ask 100 people about #MartynsLaw 95 will say they never heard of it, 3 will say they heard of it but don't know what it is & 2 may say they know what it is. This is a law to keep the general public safe yet most don't know about it. Security is not normally on our radar.
