Richard Ndlovu has been a beloved friend to the
@balmoralhall community for over 20 years.
Richard retires this week, and it was my privilege to honour him for his decades of service and for the kindness he’s spread to the community over all these years. This was also his first time inside the Legislature!
As part of Balmoral’s maintenance team, Richard has been a welcoming face to greet students every day. He took the time to know everyone by name. With a smile, he’d also take the time to talk to students and to listen, because he loves to hear people’s stories.
Richard has been there for hundreds of students, including for my daughter, Victoria. The first day of kindergarten, the journey from elementary through high school, and finally to graduation.
On behalf of myself, my family, and all families touched by your work, we thank you for being there, Richard, and wish you all the best in your retirement.
