The Dev XI went to @findoncc to play their Sunday 2nd XI. Findon won the toss and saw Jamie Gandy retire on 57no before Lewis Fiddaman went on to make a terrific 83 out of 171-5. In the Findon innings, the 4 wickets were shared around as they reached the target in the 28th over.

At LB the 4th XI faced @SlinfoldCC 3rd XI. Slinfold chose to bat and made 274-5. Nav Prasanth took 3 wickets and Pete Robinson 2. Openers Alan Wyatt made 42 and Roger Southgate 46, plus Captain Rory Lawson, 20 from 13 balls got the score to a reasonable 172 all out.

The 3rd XI played Gully Cricketers 2nd XI. Asked to bat, Will Lawson made 54no and Gabriel Cavallo with 52 put on 102 for the 5th wicket out of 176-6. The home side could only muster 103 with Captain Neil Collyer taking 3-17 and Jacob McLeod wrapping up the inning with 2-6.

The 2nd XI played @CrawleyCC 3rd XI and came away with 30 points. Crawley were asked to bat. Tim Street took 3-19 and Lewis Fiddaman 3-9 as they were all out for 109. John Kimberly (29), Toby Tavener (28) and Pete Horner with 32no from 13 balls saw us to the win in the 17th over.

At home the 1st XI lost to @BroadwaterCC 1st XI. We asked them to bat and they were restricted to 182-9 with Max McAteer taking 3-22. In the reply, 29 from Max McAteer and later on, 44 from Ben Moir batting at number 8 wasn’t enough as the innings closed on 149 in the 31st over.

The Sunday XI took on @SouthwaterCC. Retuning Harry Bradshaw made 88 and there were 50s for Jacob Gilkison and Lewis Fiddaman out of 282-7. Unlikely bowling star of the day was Elliott Stanbridge with 5-46 including 3 in his first over as the visitors were dismissed for 180.

At @BarnsGreenCC, the 4th XI took on their 2nd XI. We lost the toss and saw BG make 289-6. Roger Southgate (60) and Alan Wyatt (46) put on 114 for the first wicket. Rory Lawson chipped in with 36 before Roger was eventually out for a brilliant 137 from a reply of 280-9. So close!

At LB the 3rd XI beat @Ifieldcc 5th XI. Ifield won the toss and batted, but Marcus Ally returned 4-28 as they were all out for 130. In the reply, Rob Watson (25no) and Neil Collyer (29no) put on an unbroken 54 run stand for the 8th wicket to see victory in the 37th over.

At Victory Road, the 2nd XI took on @horshamcc 3rd XI. Chris Douglas made 46, but we could only muster 149 runs from 31.3 overs. George Horner and Lewis Fiddaman taking 1-28 and 2-25 respectively bowled well, but we only took one further wicket as Horsham won in the 23rd over.
