I lived in San Antonio for 10 years and never went to the alamo. I did go to fiesta Texas, the Riverwalk, natural bridge caverns, SeaWorld, stock show and rodeo, fiesta, an old Spanish fort overrun by homeless drug addicts out by garden ridge, plus more. But, never the alamo..
My best friend came to visit Texas and at one point I mentioned the Alamo being a tourist attraction, and she said “what’s Alamo?”
I almost kicked her out of my car.

SpaceX just bought a $60 billion company without spending a dollar.
The deal for Cursor, the AI coding tool, is all stock. No cash. SpaceX prints new shares, hands them over, done.
Now connect it to what happened last week.
SpaceX went public by floating just 4% of itself. 556 million shares against 13 billion. The tiniest free float a mega-cap has ever listed with. Index funds were forced to buy it. Retail piled in. Tiny supply, enormous demand, and the stock rocketed past $200.
Here's the part that should make you sit up.
The price SpaceX pays for Cursor is set by its own share price in the seven days before closing. The higher the stock, the fewer shares it has to print to cover $60 billion.
So the engineered scarcity that pumped the stock now makes the acquisition cheaper. The squeeze pays for the shopping spree.
A company losing $4 billion a quarter is now buying AI startups with paper it manufactured out of a 4% float.
This isn't aerospace. It isn't even AI.
It's the finest financial engineering of the century, and it's only getting started.

In America, the blacks and middle management whites are arrogant and care about status. The wealthy don't need to fake it and the poor don't get caught up in the game.
My thoughts after 3 months in the US/Texas🇺🇸:
- Americans are way more extroverted than Europeans
- Talking to strangers is normal here
- My first H-E-B trip felt like Boris Yeltsin seeing an American grocery store
- Some food is more artificial, but the amount of choices is insane
- You can still eat healthy. You just have to choose it
- High risk, high reward is real
- Way more people are entrepreneurial
- People dream bigger than in Europe, and they actually execute
- Obv not everyone is smarter, but the smart people are world-class
- Successful people here are way more down-to-earth. In Europe, successful people care about status and can be arrogant
- Cars. Enough said
- Americans have perfected artificial sweets
- There’s still more freedom here than in Europe
- One thing I didn’t expect: some Americans talk down on America
- As an outsider, that’s weird, because imo it’s still the greatest country on Earth🇺🇸🇺🇸
