Hey my lovely community of Origins, I’ve decided to leave the Event Creators Program. I want to share how i feel about all of this. Don’t be toxic in the comments you will be blocked and your comment will be removed. I truly admire everyone and each one of you that brought and contributed amazing things to Origins community. People from .com/.br & .es. Together we make Origins stronger as a community. But lately I’ve seen a lot of bad vibes in game on socials & discord. It kind of bothers me that some people I used to respect talk badly about others or provoke other people and also accuses others (me) of things that aren’t true. I truly love putting hours and weeks into building rooms, taking time to write down the story line and what not. Also mini-events I loved to host recently an example is the Jungle Rush or Don’t rage event.. Chapter: Creators Circle (Before Event Creators): The Creators Circle was one of the best thing that happened for Origins. I was given the chance to be able to host events with support of staff. I believe that Morgana & Aleksander did a great job with Creators Circle even though the start was a pain of waiting for the furni to be delivered, the effort they put in and the time they took. We shared a lot of feedback and tried to improve the program and I think we truly did a great job with the resources we had. I think that some folks who talked bad about Morgana did her dirty and I do not agree with what they said about her. I want to thank Morgana and Aleksander for all the help and the time they put in to help and support us! I’ve been hosting events since the start of Habbo Hotel Origins. First year was fully hosted by myself and others that were helping/supporting me. Thank you Tee for the wonderful super rare prizes he donated to give it away at my events am very thankful for that! The same/second year was also wonderful being asked to be the First Creators Circle (Now called Event Creators) to host events with support of staff! Reactions of some people kind of shocked and disappointed me even some saying; ‘We don’t want to see a 4 month teleport maze or will he host teleport mazes only’. Which I understand because that is what I was known for. I hosted different type of events: small events, global events (streets of bobba I organized for all three hotels with the Skull badge), group events, big events etc. etc. I gave it my all and hosted weekly for the community! Let’s talk about todays Creators Circle program now called ‘Event Creators’ it started all weird from my view. In November Aleksander went on holiday and he told us he would be back in December. We were waiting for him because Morgana left the program and Aleksander toke the lead. After waiting for 1 month we heard that the Creators Circle program has been ended and that we were moving on to a new project called Event Creators. Which at first it was awesome! But I’ve seen someone say that they were already talking months before about the new program without letting the former Creators Circles hosts know so things were getting planned by some other folks and reminder that these were not staff. That was a punch in the face that things were happening behind our backs. 6 people got added to the program which is totally fine and a bigger team is better! This is literally my own opinion; I feel like some people don’t belong in this program because they aren’t a event creator or a host. My view is that other folks deserved it better than some of the people that got added but that is just my opinion. The weird part of this all is also that no one asked us if we know people that host/organize events that are experienced. The first month everyone was motivated and we wanted to go full force and do everything for the community; which lasted for 1 month only.. Things toke a weird turn it was more debating and discussing with each other in EC discord then rather hosting/preparing the events. I don’t want to go further in details about it. I personally think some folk got granted this position and they didn’t deserve it. The Event Creators member were never a one big team and it was always divided. I think something needs to change and we need to stop putting people somewhere they don’t belong because they want to boost their ego and want to feel special. I’m also truly against that DOS got booted out of the program – the screenshots that got shared was literally missing context and information and it got used against DOS. I rather leave the program and have someone else take the spot that truly wants to host events for the community than have people just sit in there waiting months and months to host 1 event. The thing I respected of Creators Circle (Previous program of Event creators) was you HAD to host atleast 2 big events and 2 small events. That is how an event creator should be. So this program failed on that part. There is also a positive thing I’m happy about that we got it; Jade Gift box & EC tokens! It feels more like people want to play ‘look how popular I’m’, ‘Want to feel special than others’. I’ve seen people typing some bad/worst things about certain people and about me (I’m not talking specially about EC but more from the community and people that have a rank in this game) and it truly shocked me how they play it off and have no shame and act like nothing happened. Self-respect is truly far to see from these people. This game brings the worst out of people. I’ve never seen so much toxicity from a game like this. Always trying to be better then others, always trying to prove themselves, always trying to be the victim, provoking people and when they get shit on acting like they did nothing wrong and pulling the victim card. When this doesn’t change and you have the same toxic people around that have some sort of ‘rank’ ‘something to say’ in this game or in discord, well good luck with it. I truly believe we all want to see origins thrive but at this moment on how it’s going now; Naahhh, this won’t work like this. The game it self improved in many aspect and we can’t deny that. The developer has done a great job with other community members and Staff members from Origins team or Modern team. Origins game has the potential but not with the toxic people around that trying to claim everything for themselves. I wish all the origins players good luck and have a wonderful time! This is not a goodbye but rather a: I leave the Event Creators Program. I’ll be still around but not that much as I use to be. Who knows maybe I’ll be back at Event Creators Program in the future when things change? I guess not after this message is out because this will for sure hurt some egos of some folks. Truly appreciate this gesture! Thank you @SulakeDominic. I came online expecting one trophy, the second trophy genuinely caught me off guard in the best way. Seeing others receive them as well made it even more special. It's a beautiful thing when people are celebrated for what they bring out of passion for the game!
